NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT
VETERAN AFFAIRS COMMISSION

The Bremer County Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants for the Veteran Affairs Commission. The Commission is a three-member committee that provides guidance and oversees the operations of the County Veterans Affairs Department.  The appointment begins July 1, 2023, and lasts for three years. Candidates must be a resident of the county who honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces during a war period per Iowa Code Sections 35.1 & 35B.3. Applicants must include proof of military service (DD-214) and veterans from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply by May 31, 2023.
