SEEKING CONSERVATION BOARD MEMBER APPLICANTS

The Bremer County Board of Supervisors is taking applications to fill a vacancy on the county Conservation Board.  This board is a five-member board that provides guidance and over sees operations of the county Conservation department. The board meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Conservation Office in Tripoli.  This is an unpaid position.  Bremer County appreciates diversity in their appointments and welcomes all applicants at least 18 years of age who are residents of Bremer County who have an interest in conservation and recreation matters to apply.  The term begins with the calendar year 2021 appointment and continues until January 1, 2026.  Applications can be obtained online at http://www.co.bremer.ia.us/government/auditor/index.php or at the office of the Bremer County Auditor, 415 E. Bremer Ave., Waverly, IA and must be submitted before 9:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 in the Bremer County Auditor’s Office or by email to swolf@co.bremer.ia.us

 

The Board of Supervisors is always looking for people interested in serving their community.  Applications for the various boards and commissions are accepted throughout the year.  Appointments are typically made at the beginning of the calendar year.
